Do bearing oscillations and gaps prohibit the use of Nilos Rings or interfere in their sealing effect?

Not at all. Nilos Rings are manufactured with thin and flexible 1010 steel (0.3mm or 0.5mm) that compensates gaps (C1, C2, C3, C4) and buffers expected oscillations in standard and self-compensating bearings. Also, there are no restrictions in regards to gaps (C1, C2, C3, C4) when using LSTO Nilos Rings (seals without contact) because the micro labyrinth structure is designed to allow radial and axial movement to compensate these gaps. However, LSTO Nilos Rings are not recommended for Y bearings because these bearings allow misalignments between the axis and the bushing. Misalignment values of self-compensating bearings must be verified before using LSTO Nilos Rings.
